OUR MISSION
Seattle Sikh Education Foundation’s (SSEF) mission is to promote and facilitate higher education for our youth by providing scholarships and thru our mentorship program. Our goal is to work with youth in the community to encourage higher education by providing need-based and merit-based financial aids/scholarships.
Seattle Sikh Education Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes, including, for such purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
Seattle Sikh Education Foundation’s goals are as follows:
- Motivate local youth to pursue higher education by providing scholarships to ease financial burden.
- Connect youth to various employment and internship opportunities by partnering with local and major businesses.
- SSEF Mentorship program to connect youth with local professionals in various fields to provide education or career related guidance.
- Monthly Community Enrichment Forum to empower youth and their families in the local community.
We are giving away 100 bags with back to school supplies Sunday, August 25th 5-7 PM
It's a wonderful way to get kids excited for back-to-school!
