Scholarship

APPLY FOR SEATTLE YOUTH EDUCATION FINANCIAL AID AWARD

(Application will be open from June, 10th 2019 till August, 10th 2019)

To be considered as a recipient for the Seattle Youth Education Award, a student must meet the following criteria:

        1. Currently enrolled in a part-time or full-time 2-year or 4-year college/university/vocational college
        2. One professional letter of reference from your school, written by a guidance counselor or teacher (must be directly e-mail to: seattlesikheducationfoundation@gmail.com). Optional personal letter of recommendation is recommended.
        3. Most recent transcript of your academic records. Must demonstrate minimum cumulative GPA 3.00.
        4. Submit written responses to the following questions along with your application: (500 words or less)
              • How will you benefit from this scholarship?
              • Identify a social issue in your community or among your peers and how will you plan to solve it?
              • What are your future aspirations and how do you plan to give back to the community?
        5. Note: You will be required to show income proof only if you are selected for the award
